THE HEALTH IS FIRST

The Peruvian Government has taken these measures to fight against COVID-19:

  • All travelers entering the country must complete the following affidavit (https://djsaludviajero.minsa.gob.pe/dj-salud/).
  • Peruvian travelers and resident foreigners, from the age of 18, will present their COVID-19 vaccination card with the three doses applied in Peru or abroad before boarding the plane. On the other hand, people between the ages of 12 and 17 will present their COVID-19 vaccination card with the first and second doses applied in Peru or abroad before boarding the plane; otherwise, they must present a negative molecular test issued up to 48 hours before boarding. Children under 12 years of age only need to be asymptomatic to board.
  • Non-resident foreigners must have the vaccination according to the scheme of their country of origin, otherwise they must present a negative molecular test issued up to 48 hours before boarding.
  • For domestic flights and interprovincial land trips, resident and non-resident passengers over 12 years of age will present their COVID-19 vaccination card with the first and second doses applied in Peru or abroad, and the dose of booster for those over 18 years of age residing in Peru and who are authorized to receive it according to current protocol, otherwise, they must present a negative molecular test issued up to 48 hours before boarding. Children under 12 years of age only need to be asymptomatic to board.
  • To enter closed spaces, those over 18 years of age residing in Peru will present their vaccination card against COVID-19 with the three doses applied in Peru or abroad, provided they are authorized to receive it according to current protocol.
  • The use of a KN95 mask or, failing that, a three-fold surgical mask and a community mask (cloth) on top of it, is mandatory to circulate on public roads and in closed places.
  • In the departments with 80% vaccination coverage against COVID-19 of people aged 60 years and over with 3 doses and 80% vaccination coverage against COVID-19 of people aged 12 years and over with 2 doses, the use of masks in open spaces is optional, provided that physical or bodily distancing is guaranteed, measures that could be modified according to the epidemiological context.
  • It is important to constantly wash your hands, avoid crowds and maintain social distance.
  • These measures will be in force as of June 9, 2022, in accordance with SUPREME DECREE No. 063-2022-PCM (https://busquedas.elperuano.pe/normaslegales/decreto-supremo-que-modifica-el-decreto- supremo-n-016-2022-decreto-supremo-n-063-2022-pcm-2076344-1/) and SUPREME DECREE No. 069-2022-PCM (https://busquedas.elperuano.pe/normaslegales/decreto-supremo -which-modifies-number-44-of-article-4-d-supreme-decree-n-069-2022-pcm-2076849-2/).
